This privacy policy applies to the Terrarium Tracker app (hereafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Adrian Wrona (hereafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application allows users to save their entire terrarium data (including breeding records, notes, settings, and photos) to a cloud service for synchronization across multiple devices.
Users may share their breeding data with other users via the Application’s social features.
If the Application uses third-party services for cloud storage, the data may be subject to the privacy policies of these providers.
The Application allows users to add photos to records. All photos are stored locally on your device only unless you choose to upload them for cloud sync or backup.
All user data is stored locally on your device. Uploading data to external servers is done entirely at your own risk. The Application does not control these servers and is not responsible for the safety, legality, or content of the data once uploaded.
⚠️ By adding content (e.g., notes, videos, images), you confirm that you have the right to share it. The Application does not verify or moderate content and is not responsible for what users upload. Do not upload copyrighted or illegal material. Users are fully responsible for the content they add.
The Application allows users to provide URLs pointing to external servers (e.g., JSON files) to fetch specific data or variables. The Application does not control, verify, or host these external servers. Users are solely responsible for the content, legality, and safety of the data accessed through such URLs. The Service Provider is not liable for any consequences resulting from using, displaying, or processing data from external servers.
The Application may allow users to stream or receive live video from their own devices (e.g., another smartphone, Raspberry Pi, or IP camera) by providing a stream URL or key (e.g., RTMP/HTTP/WebRTC).
The Application may connect to external devices or servers specified by the user, such as ESP32 microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi devices, or IP cameras. These connections are fully managed by the user.
The Application may store the IP address or URL of a user’s external device locally on the mobile device for convenience (to avoid re-entering connection details). This information is not transmitted to any external servers or the Service Provider and remains solely on the user’s device.
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you for important updates, notices, or marketing promotions.
For a better experience, the Service Provider may request certain personally identifiable information (e.g., adrianwrona96@gmail.com). This information will be retained and used as described in this privacy policy.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application. The Service Provider may share information with third parties as described in this privacy statement.
The Application uses third-party services with their own Privacy Policies:
The Application offers the following purchase options:
Subscriptions are billed to your account (e.g. Google Play or Apple ID) and automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings in the respective app store (Google Play or App Store).
All premium features are identical whether purchased as a one-time purchase, monthly subscription, or yearly subscription.
The Service Provider may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information:
You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application using standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the app store.
The Service Provider will retain user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. To request deletion or transfer of your data, contact: terrariumspiders@gmail.com.
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be deleted immediately. Parents/guardians may contact terrariumspiders@gmail.com for assistance.
The Service Provider uses physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information.
The Application displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as IDFA or Google Advertising ID) and other advertising-related data to deliver personalized ads and measure ad performance. This data is not linked to your personal identity. Users may opt out of personalized ads in their device settings.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will appear on this page. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of these changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2025-10-14.
By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
